Denver home inspector finds a garage door issue during an inspection

Today while inspecting a home in Morrison Colorado and while testing the garage door opener, the noise from opening and closing the garage door was a little unbelievable. The sound definitely was not normal and it’s hard to believe that the sellers could stand coming and going and having to hear this noise each time.

We are recommending that a qualified garage door company evaluate the opener and door to make sure the door is hung properly and that the springs above the door can handle the weight of the door itself.
